Omar Nur, the founder of NUR LAW, is a Washington native who grew up in the same community he serves. During his early practice, Mr. Nur represented indigent clients at the public defenders' office and at various legal
clinics in Washington. During this time, Mr. Nur worked on cases involving a variety of legal issues from juvenile crimes to more serious felonies, family law, wills and trusts, real estate, and immigration and naturalization law. After founding Nur Law, Mr. Nur focused his practice on criminal and traffic defense as well as immigration and naturalization law. In addition, he also represents clients at a variety of hearings including probation violations, vacating and sealing criminal records, and petitions to restore gun rights.

When he is not working on legal matters, Mr. Nur spends much of his time volunteering in the community. Mr. Nur is active with several local committees and non-profit organizations including the Washington State Association for Justice, the Washington Young Lawyer Committee and Middle Eastern Legal Association of Washington, and the Citizenship Day Planning Committee, to name a few.

Mr. Nur's hobbies include bicycling, jogging, hiking, kayaking, snowboarding, surfing, and scuba diving.
